Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medications are often the first treatments utilized to relieve chronic pain. Corticosteroids and stronger prescription medications such as Morphine may also be recommended as an initial treatment. Our Providers try to minimize pharmaceutical treatment by recommending appropriate alternate techniques whenever possible.
The Providers at Advanced Spine & Pain Interventions remain up to date on the newest medication and technologies to combat chronic intractable pain. Additionally, we perform lab testing in our state of art lab to aid in the medication management exclusively planned for our patients. We also partner with other labs to provide genetic testing for those patients who are sensitive or with intractable pain to medications.
